FAQs – Working with the Conference Platform of the CIRP GA 2021

  1. How can I access the conference platform?
    The conference platform is available via https://interplan.eventsair.com/70th-cirp-general-assembly/login.  Your personalized access data was sent to you by email during the month of August. If you have not received this email please contact info@cirp2021.de. We recommend using Chrome as an internet browser.

  2. How can I find my colleagues and contact them directly?
    Click on the Networking Button on the Conference Platform (right-hand side between the two people). Now you get a list with all participants. Search for your colleagues and chat with them privately.

  3. Where can I find the pre-recorded presentations?
    You can find the pre-recorded presentations in our Media Library. To do so, log in to the conference platform and click the button next to Media Library on the signpost on the right- hand side.

  4. Are there live presentations in Part I?
    Yes, beside the pre-recordings there will be live presentations as well. After the short presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask questions.

  5. Which time zone is displayed in the programme?
    The displayed time zone is Central European Summer Time (CEST). You will find a clock in the Foyer showing the CEST so that you can attend the sessions on time.

  6. Where can I download the programme?

  7. Where can I find the usual list of participants?
    The List of Participants will be available via the flyer carousel on the left-hand side of the lobby.

  8. Can I download the pre-recordings?
    No, the pre-recordings can only be streamed via the Media Library.

  9. The Media Library is empty.
    Please try to click Strg and F5 simultaneously on your computer. The browser will reload the website and you should be able to see
    the content now. Please use an up-to-date version of your browser.

For presenters:

  1. Is there an opportunity to check my technical equipment before the talk starts?  Yes, there is. For the technical check you have to join your meeting 20 minutes before it starts. For further information please check your briefing information which you get by Email.
  1. Can other participants can talk during my live presentation? Yes and no. In the Paper Sessions other participants will be able to ask questions only via the chat function. During Keynotes no discussion at all is possible. In the STC sessions of Part II, there will be the opportunity to give other participants the chance to speak.

  2. What is the purpose of the 5-minute presentation? What should it include? The purpose of the short presentation is the intro to the 20 min live discussion. The 5 minutes should give a summary of the 20 minutes of the uploaded video.
